Rates

Rates are net per room per night inclusive of breakfast and taxes. Online reservations will present the most attractive options and rates. Rates may depend on the number of nights booked and daily rates may change if reservation is amended after confirmation.

Reservation and guarantee

The hotel requires valid creditcard details in order to confirm any reservation. Debit cards are not accepted.

Payment

Payment policies vary by room type and type of reservation. Please observe the conditions for a specific reservation. Payment is for most reservations to be made by cash or creditcard upon arrival to the hotel. Debit cards are not accepted. The hotel does not permit payment by invoice or any other credit arrangements or post-payment. Specific terms of payment will apply for all group reservations.

Cancellations and amendments

Cancellation policies vary by room type and type of reservation. Please observe the conditions for a specific reservation. Cancellations are for most reservations free of charge up until 48 hours prior to arrival or a cancellation charge of the first nights room charge will apply.

Reservations made from a website online must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge of the first nights room charge. Such cancellations must however be made online. If the online hotel reservation required a full payment in advance, the entire reserved stay will be charged even if reservation is cancelled. The depository payment will be forfeited.

Rates may depend on the number of nights booked and daily rates may change if reservation is amended after confirmation. Restricted reservations may not be amendable. Please observe the conditions for a specific reservation. The entire stay will be charged even if the room is checked out prior to the reserved departure date.

During high travel periods and special events, reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to arrival in order to avoid cancellations charges. Specific cancellation policies will apply for all group reservations.

The hotel recommends all clients to bind a travel insurance coverage and consult the insurance provider to compensate for any cancellation charges that may apply.

Late arrival or no arrival

If client does not arrive at the hotel on the confirmed date of arrival, the entire reservation will be cancelled and a cancellation charge of the first nights room charge will apply. The reservation will not be valid for arrival on a date before or after the confirmed date of arrival.

If the online hotel reservation required a full payment in advance, the entire reserved stay will be charged even if client does not arrive at the hotel on the confirmed date of arrival. The reservation will not be valid for arrival on a date after the confirmed date of arrival and the depository payment will be forfeited.

Additional individuals

Extrabeds and children beds are not supplied. Children above 6 years are considered and calculated for as adults. Single rooms are strictly for one person only and double or twin bedrooms will accommodate maximum two persons. Triple bedrooms and suite rooms will accommodate maximum three persons. Additional beds are not supplied. The hotel only accepts individual reservations by individual travellers.

Groups

Groups and large parties are normally not accepted. Reservations of five rooms or more will need management approval. Specific group policies will apply for reservations of five rooms or more. Group policies will also apply when several individual reservations are made for the same group of people or a party of people during the same dates.

Reservations of five rooms or more made from a website online will be charged at the time of reservation. The total cost of all rooms on the reservation will be charged. Such reservations are valid and confirmed only if payment can be produced at the time of reservation. Reservation will be rejected if full and final payment is not settled within 24 hours from the time of reservation. Payment will not be refunded if reservation is later cancelled.

All other group reservations are valid and confirmed only with a depository payment of at least 50 % of the total cost of the reservation, to be paid by bank transfer or charged to a creditcard (a written authorization is required). Full and final payment for the entire group reservation must be settled no later than 60 days prior to arrival or reservation will be cancelled by 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations and amendments are free of charge up until 60 days prior to arrival. Depository payment will be returned if cancellation is made earlier than 60 days prior to arrival, less 10 % administration fee. Only 50 % of the depository payment will be returned if cancellation is made within 60 days until 30 days prior to arrival. For cancellations and amendments made within 30 days prior to arrival the depository payment will be forfeited. The hotel requires a complete list of names no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

Booking agents

Specific terms and conditions may apply for reservations, payments and cancellations made with an agent. Alexandra Hotel is in cooperation with a limited number of selected agents and partners.

Rejection

The hotel reserves the right to reject reservations made in contradiction with hotel regulations or by an agent without a valid contract with the Alexandra Hotel. Clients holding a confirmed reservation but not being able to provide necessary payment upon arrival to the hotel may be refused to complete the check-in procedure.
